# Skill Badges

### Viewing Badges

Assets can earn you **Skill Badges** to track competencies across multiple asset types. This data is stored at the asset level and also in the user's digital learning record [learner-record](https://docs.motar.com/how-to/motar-core-services/user-profile/learner-record "mention").

* Click on the "**Badges**" tab on any compatible asset listing to view the available **Skill Badges** for that asset.
