# How to Use the Model Inspector

### About

The Model Inspector allows MOTAR users with appropriate permissions to preview a 3D model directly embedded in the HUB Listing.

### Final Render

When the "Final Render" option is selected, the model displayed in the viewer is the "Final Render" of the 3D model.

### Matcap

The Matcap displays a surface material and lighting environment simply by painting an object so that it shows proper texture, highlights, and lowlights.

### Wireframe

The wireframe option displays a visual representation of the underlying design structure of a 3D model.

### Background Color

The background color option allows the user to change the background color of the 3D model Inspectors display area.

### Play Animation

The play animation dropdown allows the user to select/run any animations included in the 3D model listing.
