To start the creation process:

To create a new listing, select "New Hub Listing" and click "Next" to proceed.
This guide focuses on creating a New Hub Listing. For details on creating a New Version or a Remix, check the additional resources linked below. New Version or Remix.
Upload
After selecting the New Hub Listing option, you will be directed to the "Upload" tab. Here, you are required to upload a supported audio file.

The File Upload and Scanning Tool will launch to help with this process (see the link below for detailed instructions).
Once the scan is completed successfully, you can close the modal, and the audio file will be listed.
Info
After the file is uploaded, the "Info" tab will allow you to complete the following:
The Listing Name will auto-populate to match the name of the file that was uploaded. You can edit this name at this point to your preferred listing name.
Listing Description: Provide a brief description of the listing.

You can save your progress after uploading the file, naming the listing, and filling in the description. This allows you to come back and complete any remaining fields later.
A listing cannot be promoted from Sandbox to Production until all required fields have been completed.

Navigate to the "Permissions" tab.
Click the "Launch" button to run the Permissions Wizard.

Digital Thread
The current version of the listing
Any future versions or remixes created from it
The "Digital Thread" tab provides a centralized view of a listing’s entire digital lifecycle. It captures and displays:
When creating a new listing, this tab will initially show only that listing. As you or others create new versions or remixes, those will be added to this view automatically.
You can return to the "Digital Thread" tab at any time by choosing to "Edit" the listing from the "My Listings" page.
From the Digital Thread tab, users can set a listing as Authoritative or Certified—but only after it has been promoted to Production.
For more guidance on how to authorize or certify a listing, click here.

See the following links for more information on Digital Thread and the Digital Thread Iconology.
All listings remain in Sandbox until they are promoted and approved for Production. This means their authoritative or certified status cannot be applied until that transition happens.
Publish
Once all required information for a listing is complete and the listing has been saved, the "Publish" button becomes available.
Publishing a listing moves it from Sandbox to Production, making it officially available for wider access.
After publishing, users will no longer be able to change files on the "Upload" tab. However, you can still update:
