Learner Record
Motar gives learners and instructors detailed insights into how users interact with video content, helping track engagement, progress, and skill development. With learner metrics, users can understand their own behavior, while instructors gain actionable data to improve learning outcomes.
These metrics allow learners to monitor their engagement, optimize their learning experience, and track skill acquisition, while providing instructors with the data needed to create more effective, engaging content.
Viewing your learner record (Insights):
Click Record on the User Profile page
In the list of Assets, click on the insights 'graph' icon to view details for that asset.
A modal will open with specific metrics collected for that asset.
Interaction & Behavior
Times Played
Number of times a learner has watched a video.
4 views.
Percent Watched
The total amount of the video watched.
84% watched.
Times Paused
Frequency of pausing .
Paused 12 times.
Was Muted
Was the audio muted?
No
Max Volume
The maximum the volume was set.
95%
Was Completed
The entire video was watched.
Yes
Last Watched
The last time the video was watched.

Download Certificate
If a Skill Badge is associated with the completed asset, a "download certificate" icon will appear.
Click the "Download Certificate" icon to automatically generate and download a PDF certificate for that badge.
The PDF is compatible with any MOTAR CertIQ system.
Import a Certificate
Importing a certificate from another compatible MOTAR CertIQ system is a simple process.
Click the "Import Certificate" button
A file dialog window will open, select your PDF certificate.
Currently, Admins can disable importing user certificates from other systems. If the Import Certificate button is not available, contact your admin.
