MOTAR 3.1.0

MOTAR 3.1.0 is out and is ready to support enterprise companies, US government, and educational institutions!

Release on 2 May 2025

Supported Activation: MOTAR Ghost (self-hosted) via Docker Compose or via Helm Chart installation.

This 3.1.0 release expands the power and flexibility of the MOTAR platform with the following features:

Government CUI data marking support: Government licensed instances now have the option for CUI data markings.
Upgradability: Government licensed instances can be easily upgraded from Unclass data markings to support CUI data markings just by updating the license type. Note that once an instance is upgraded to support CUI data markings, it cannot be downgraded.
Studio Group Leads: Studio groups now have a "lead" role. Assign this role to user(s) in a studio to grant them Studio group audit rights to manage all that Studio’s contributed content.
Data Restore: MOTAR now supports restoring from large backup files.
General Bug Fixes & Optimization: We are constantly improving MOTAR and knocking out pesky bugs. Find something we missed? Need something we don't have? Contact Us!

User Icon: When adding users to a Contractor Company or Partner Company default user icon is broken if Partner/Contractor icon has not been uploaded.
Adding Users/Studios/Partners: List of new users and groups does not automatically refresh. You can hit refresh manually to work around this.
Data Restore Response: Data restore does not currently communicate to the user during the process and can appear to be frozen or failed but it is working in the background and will take a bit to complete.
