The Unit Training Tracker view allows the Unit Training Manager (UTM) to monitor total unit readiness and the individual readiness status of all members within their functional organization. They can manage members’ assigned training by adding, editing, or removing requirements.
Features
Consolidated Unit Readiness Report and Forecast
The Tracker view provides the UTM with a snapshot of the unit’s consolidated readiness data. They can quickly view the total number of Students in their unit that are Ready or Not Ready, the percent of Students that are ready, and a forecast of training requirements coming due in the next 30 and 60 days.
Export
Click the export button to generate/download a consolidated unit readiness report as a CSV file.
Search Filters
The Unit Training Manager (UTM) can filter and search by user(s), training requirement(s), and status(es).
The Unit Training Manager (UTM) can also filter requirements by Color Key. Click to make a selection.
Customizable Training Requirements
Create
To create a training requirement, CLICK the ASSIGN REQ. button found under the search filters.
CLICK the SELECT TRAINING dropdown. SELECT the training requirement(s) from the dropdown options, then select the NEXT button.
If the needed requirement isn't found in the drop-down then SELECT the ADD A NEW TRAINING REQUIREMENT. Input the TRAINING REQUIREMENT NAME and FREQUENCY. The INSTRUCTIONS field is optional.
Select the Students that need to be assigned to the new training requirement(s). Training can be assigned to all members of the functional organization, by AFSC, or by selecting individual personnel. SELECT the NEXT button once assignments have been made.
Confirm the new training requirement(s) are accurate, then SELECT the ASSIGN button. The training will now be visible by the UTM from the tracker view.
All assigned personnel will receive a task notification. The task will also be visible in the Task Summary on their Student Dashboard in the Training service.
Edit
To edit a training requirement, CLICK the ADD/EDIT REQ. button found under the search filters.
To edit the requirement, CLICK on the PENCIL icon.
The UTM can edit the Training Tile and/or Frequency. SELECT the DONE button to save changes, or CLICK the X button to discard all changes.
Delete
To delete a training requirement, CLICK the ADD/EDIT REQ. button found under the search filters. SELECT the TRASHCAN icon.
This will trigger the CONFIRM ACTION modal. To delete the training requirement, SELECT the CONFIRM button.
Certificate of Training
Once a Certificate of Training is uploaded by the student, their training requirement icon will be updated to the white circle with green border, indicating that it is PENDING REVIEW by the UTM.
The UTM can CLICK on the CIRCLE icon to launch the APPROVE OR DENY modal. From this modal, the UTM can:
CLICK the VIEW CERTICATE link to download and review the certificate
Approve Certificate
To approve the certificate, CLICK the APPROVE button.
The modal will close and the student's training requirement icon will be updated to the green circle, indicating that it is CURRENT/COMPLETE. The student will also receive a MOTAR notification advising them of the action.
Deny Certificate
To deny the certificate, CLICK the DENY button.
ENTER a reason for the denial in the text field. CLICK the SEND button to send an email and MOTAR notification to the student, advising them of the action and reason the certificate was denied.
Cancel Requirement
To cancel the requirement, CLICK the CANCEL REQUIREMENT link.
The CONFIRM ACTION modal will launch. CLICK the CONFIRM button to cancel the requirement.
