This tutorial will walk through how to configure permissions through the Permission Wizard for Production app listings.

Login to MOTAR Studio. SELECT your ORGANIZATION.
If the user logging in is only assigned to one organization MOTAR will auto-select the Organization and route directly to MOTAR Studio.
Scroll down to the MY CURRENT LISTINGS section to view a list of your production apps. SELECT the EDIT icon for the desired app to configure its permissions.
From the EDIT APP LISTING page, select the PERMISSIONS tab.
Login to MOTAR Studio. SELECT your ORGANIZATION.
If the user logging in is only assigned to one organization MOTAR will auto-select the Organization and route directly to MOTAR Studio.
Populate the INFO tab of the CREATE APP LISTING page, being sure to select PRODUCTION as the APP TYPE.
If the App Type should be Sandbox then the Permissions Wizard process does not apply.
When the Permissions Wizard is launched in a new window, you will be greeted with a Welcome page and your Identified Profile Type. Identified Profile Types include Government and Contractor.
Selecting Not Applicable will result in the next page displaying the following message. "A Distribution Statement is required for sharing content on MOTAR at this time."
If you do not select the Save icon, the app creation will not be saved and you will have to start the entire process over.
If you selected NO, proceed to Contractor Permission Wizard Setup: No Government Contract.
SELECT either SBIR or OTHER options to reveal the CONTRACT NUMBER field. Populate the CONTRACT NUMBER field.

Select the button to run the Permissions Wizard. The Permissions Wizard will open in a new window. Proceed to the Permissions Wizard Setup section below.
From the CREATE NEW LISTING section, select the APP icon .
Proceed to the PERMISSIONS tab by selecting the tab or by selecting the button on the lower right of the screen to go to the SDKs tab and then select the button on the lower right of the screen again to go to the PERMISSIONS tab.
SELECT the button to run the Permissions Wizard. The Permissions Wizard will open in a new window.
SELECT the button on the Welcome page to proceed to the Classify page.
Here the user will set the classification level of the shared listing. SELECT the button on the Classify page to proceed to the Disseminate page.
SELECT the applicable DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT for the content listing. Once the applicable Distribution Statement has been selected, SELECT the button on the Dissimenate page to proceed to the Disclose page.
SELECT either the YES or NO option to denote if the Federal Disclosure Office (FDO) approved the contract. SELECT the button on the Disclose page to proceed to the Submit page.
Upload all necessary and applicable support documents. If the permission configuration is not correct, select the button or the button to update permission configuration settings as outlined in previous steps. If the permission configuration is correct, select the CHECKBOX to certify the information is correct and ready to share.
Once all permission configuration is correct and you have selected the checkbox to certify the information is correct and ready to share, select the Complete icon to finish the Permissions Wizard setup. SELECT the SAVE button on the CREATE APP LISTING page to save the app.
SELECT the button on the Welcome page to proceed to the initial Contract page.
Select the CHECKBOX based on your listing item being developed under a government contract, either YES or NO. Select the Next icon to proceed to the next Contract page.
Select the button to proceed to the initial Data Rights page. SELECT the DATA RIGHTS that are applicable. SELECT the button to proceed to the Classification page.
SELECT the CHECKBOX associated with the Classification of your listing, either Unclassified or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Once the applicable Classification has been selected, SELECT the button on the Classification page to proceed to the Disseminate page.
SELECT the CHECKBOX associated to how permissions should be modified and Creative Commons should be applied to your app. SELECT the button on the Disseminate page to proceed to the Submit page.
Review the permission configuration and upload all necessary and applicable support documents. If the permission configuration is not correct, select the button or the button to update permission configuration settings as outlined in previous steps. If the permission configuration is correct, select the CHECKBOX to certify the information is correct and ready to share.
